There is a fast ferry from Hareid to Ålesund and Valderøya (correspondence by airbus). The trip to the center of Ålesund takes about 25 minutes. The same goes for the crossing to Valderøya. From here, the airport bus takes ten minutes to Ålesund airport Vigra

Hareid has a ferry connection with Sulesund. From here it is 15 minutes to Moa (shopping centre, restaurants, cinema etc.). Furthermore, it is 15 minutes to the center of Ålesund.
